Exams...

hey guys~
sorry, haven't been posting here much, got an exam on tomorrow!
so nervous :\

anyway, i'm practicing writing, cos it's kinda a weakness for me >.<

IDEA: "BANG! the sound of a gun firing is deafening when the bullets are aimed at you"

My writing piece:
She ran, feet pounding on the hard concrete ground.

Thump, thump.
The sound was mingled with the only other sound that she could hear— her heartbeat. She could feel the tension of her muscles, as they strained, stretched. Painfully, she heaved in a haggard breath.
She could hear a deathly snarl from behind her.
He was looking for her. Looking to murder her.

Her hair, dark, short cropped hair, bounced urgently on her shoulders. Her eyes, dark chocolate brown, were frantic, trying to find an escape route.

She tried to take another breath.
Another fail.


She ripped at her clothes, trying to find a weapon.

Anything.

Her name tag with her name—Annye—provided a small, yet sharp pin.
She shook her head disdainfully. But this will have to do.



Panting like a tired dog, she slowed down, and tried to take a short break.
Big mistake.



Some could say that the sound of a gun firing is deafening, especially when the bullets are aimed at you.
To Annye, the bullets screamed their terror. Their clawed at her eardrums—seeking for their destination.

Her heart.


Then with a final effort, they pounced and buried themselves deep into her heart. Embedding a sacred scar.
The scar of death.

Her pursuer grinned with triumph, standing over a dead body—Annye’s dead body.
Another out of the way, he thought to himself, chuckling. Then with careful precision, he lit a match, placed it on her chest, and walked away, leaving the burning mass behind him.
Leaving the murder behind him.

To start a new life all over again, but without any flaws.
Better yet, he just erased his deepest flaw—his mother.
